Barden are delighted to be partnering with a key global client to support the appointment of an experienced financial services professional to lead process optimisation and change across multiple business streams to join their Cayman based team.
Working with heads of function (across corporate services, fiduciary, AML and regulatory reporting) you will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process enhancement and delivery efficiencies for customers both internally and externally.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Process Analysis & Improvement:
- Analyze, document, and optimize end-to-end processes within / across service lines.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and potential risks in current workflows, particularly in data hand-offs.
- Develop and implement standardized process frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce process risk exposure.
- Use project management methodologies to iterate and refine process improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to promote a culture of continuous process improvement.
- Work with Technology & Data teams on the introduction of new solutions
- Support automation and digitization efforts to improve data flow between service lines.
Risk Management & Compliance Coordination:
- Identify and evaluate operational risks arising from process inefficiencies and data management issues, and document them thoroughly.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure processes are aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Implement control mechanisms to enhance data accuracy, security, and governance.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuous monitoring of process-related risks.
- Assist in embedding risk management practices into daily operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Internal Monitoring Team on business risks and control gaps.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Bachelor’s degree and c. 5+ years’ experience in financial services.
- Strong experience working in either corporate services, fiduciary, AML or regulatory reporting.
- Big 4 or related consulting experience OR working in-function within a relevant FS business, are equally valuable and relevant.
- Experience in business analysis and project management is a definite advantage, but this could also be an opportunity for someone to move from an operational role into a project-based role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Discreet, dependable, and capable of working independently.
