Venesky Brown is seeking a Logistics Lead to support our client in Suffolk, involved in off-site infrastructure works for the Sizewell C project. Sizewell C is a major UK megaproject aimed at providing reliable energy and supporting the UK’s climate goals.
Job Summary:
The Sizewell C Project requires an experienced Logistics Lead to oversee logistics for the Civil Works programme, collaborating with the Works Alliance (CWA) and Site Operations teams. This role manages the logistics functions supporting the delivery teams.
The Logistics Team focuses on:
- The development of facilities, processes, and arrangements necessary for construction within the MCA.
- The systemisation of working arrangements to optimize construction efficiency.
Job Description:
- Define interfaces between the Sizewell Site Delivery team and CWA, including handover procedures for ACA & TCA.
- Assess project requirements to define logistics support needs.
- Apply industry best practices in logistics management, drawing lessons from HPC and HS2 projects.
- Coordinate with the Sizewell Site Delivery team on:
- Workforce transportation.
- Office and operational accommodation.
- Security arrangements.
- Provision of labor, plant, materials, and consumables.
- Site security, transportation, emergency procedures, and off-site storage.
