Business Communications Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead internal communications for the Electrification Global Smart Buildings (ELSB) division. Working closely with the ELSB Management Team, you will launch employee campaigns and help tell our SB unified story under the new operating model. This role is part of a global, agile team, providing exposure to business communications for both B2B and B2C markets, covering product communications, campaigns, digital tools, M&A, external communications, and special projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing the annual internal communications plan aligned with division strategy.
  2. Creating and managing the internal editorial calendar and content approval processes.
  3. Providing communication support and advice to internal stakeholders.
  4. Managing internal communication channels to ensure effective messaging and coverage.
  5. Innovating internal communication processes and channels.
  6. Developing KPIs to measure communication effectiveness and drive improvements.
  7. Ensuring compliance with Electrification directives related to internal communications.
  8. Engaging with regional teams for local internal communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in communications, with at least 3 in internal communications.
  • Strong, independent, self-driven performer and effective networker.
  • Proven experience in developing internal communication plans in a multinational environment, with a focus on blue-collar communication.
  • Excellent English writing skills; ability to produce content quickly.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders across cultures.
  • Creative, innovative, and analytical in measuring communication success.
  • Open-minded, autonomous, and eager to explore new challenges.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical content.
