As a Residential Property Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our conveyancing team. You will assist with all aspects of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting fee earners with managing residential property files from inception to completion
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Conducting property searches and reviewing results
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a residential conveyancing or legal assistant role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and client care skills
- Competency in using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
