Position Title: EDS CAD Design EngineerContractOUTSIDE IR35/Hybrid 3 days onsite.*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are seeking a EDS CAD Design Engineer to join their teamTo support the Electrical Systems department with electrical wiring harness design.Proven experience 3-5 years as EDS Design Engineer for an OEM or Tier1 supplierFamiliar with Wiring harness design, change management process, DFM, vehicle assembly process, 2D Drawings and vehicle electrical architectureReceive and analyse customer data, requirements and progress with 3D design proposalsEstablish best WH routing and minimise quality risksWork with Project engineers and systems to complete full vehicle electrical wiring harness designSupport digital and physical Design reviews, raise concerns and support issues resolutionLead 3D design freeze and gateway releasesContechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
