Due to expansion of the current business, our client requires a recent graduate to develop as a graduate Commercial Property Manager to join their team. This role has great scope for progression for the right person.
Job Description for the Graduate Commercial Property Manager:
- To work closely with the director to develop to be able to manage the day to day management of a portfolio of properties to include office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, blocks, & estates.
- Manage all health and safety and statutory compliance.
- Undertake periodic property inspections.
- Organise and manage periodic and ad-hoc maintenance and repairs.
- Liaison with landlord, tenants, contractors and other interested parties.
- Dealing with rent review & lease renewals.
- Managing interim and terminal dilapidations claims.
- Preparation and administration of service charge budgets and reconciliations.
- Working with the accounting team to manage rent collection and arrears management.
For the Graduate Commercial Property Manager, it would be good to see candidates with:
- Degree in relevant sector.
- Full driving licence.
- Clean Professional Indemnity record.
- Some previous working experience would be an advantage.
Skills required:
- Good IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with CRM systems such as Agency Pilot also useful.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload with minimum supervision, fully managing instructions, maintaining files and preparing reports to client and RICS standards. Excellent technical and analytical capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. High awareness and concern for customer service requirements. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong drive for results and highly proactive and communicative.
