This is a great opportunity for a talented, ambitious Senior Manager to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the Audit Quality Department (AQD) during an exciting expansion phase. You will support developing innovative data analytics tools, solutions, methodologies, and guidance for auditing revenue and other areas, assisting engagement teams.
About the Centre of Excellence
The CoE leads development of firm-wide and sector-specific tools, solutions, and methodologies. It supports large, complex audits, especially in revenue, and provides support during external reviews, collaborating with broader audit quality functions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting audit teams on large, complex revenue audits, coaching, and implementing high-quality strategies with controls and digital techniques.
- Conducting file reviews to enhance quality and coaching teams throughout audits.
- Assisting during external regulatory reviews.
- Leading development of data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Collaborating on training needs and materials, and facilitating training sessions.
- Working with other departments to improve audit quality and digital techniques.
Candidate profile:
- Strong knowledge of substantive and controls-based audit strategies, especially in revenue.
- Experience with Data Analytics procedures on engagements or supporting audit teams.
- Experience reviewing audit files, in regulatory or practice settings.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and technical audit expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, coaching ability, and a proactive mindset.
- ACA qualification or equivalent.
