The Role

If the answer is ‘yes’, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our client as a People Development and Engagement professional within their People Team. Supporting staff development and engagement is a cornerstone of their strategic people plan and organisational culture.
This role plays a key part in identifying, delivering, and evaluating development initiatives that empower staff to provide outstanding services. You’ll also manage and evolve digital learning content, including a learning management system and tailored performance support tools, to ensure training is engaging, accessible, and impactful. In addition, you will co-lead internal communications and engagement efforts—focusing on staff voice and recognition—ensuring employees feel informed, motivated, and proud to be part of the organisation.
About You
The successful candidate will bring:
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience in learning and development practices.
- A track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating innovative development solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong relationships across all levels.
- Experience in producing, curating, or procuring development resources aimed at driving performance and transformation.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement effective and engaging solutions.
- Competency in using learning management systems, Microsoft Office 365, and a range of digital tools to support training and engagement initiatives.
- Ideally, some experience in staff communications and engagement—or a keen interest in developing expertise in this area.
- A genuine passion for creating positive workplace experiences aligned with the organisation’s values and commitment to service excellence.
