Job Opportunity: Head of Litigation
Our client has a long history of providing legal solutions and support to its clients in areas such as conveyancing, commercial law, wills and probate, litigation, and family law.
They are currently seeking to appoint a Head of Litigation, who is highly skilled and experienced in Litigation/Dispute Resolution.
The successful applicant will join a small but dynamic firm, playing a key role in growing the team and ensuring high-quality service to clients. The role is based in Warwickshire.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 8 PQE in dispute resolution and litigation.
- Previous leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle complex matters, including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of cases while maintaining high standards.
- Manage invoicing processes.
- Lead, manage, and grow the litigation team by developing departmental goals and strategies to drive growth and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and foster a collaborative, productive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional legal services and understanding their needs.
- Work closely with clients to identify potential disputes and offer proactive legal advice.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and lead efforts to acquire new clients.
- Develop and maintain strong networks within the legal community and related industries.
- Possess exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of employment law is advantageous but not essential.
