Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Digital Account Manager at Be A Bear. As a Digital Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the client across key social and YouTube projects, taking the lead on developing and implementing digital strategies.
Our clients include a range of major TV channels and entertainment brands, where we manage and grow their digital presence – with a particular focus on platforms like YouTube, Meta, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
The perfect candidate:
You’ve already got solid experience under your belt, including multiple years at an agency or media brand, but you’re hungry for a bigger challenge. You’ve helped TV channels or media brands grow digitally and you know how to build a roadmap – and stick to it.
You’re just as comfortable leading a team as you are facing clients – even when things aren’t going well.
You have hands-on experience with entertainment or broadcast brands, and you’re excited to push this expertise even further.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing client relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication between clients and internal teams
- Leading strategic planning to deliver on client goals, driving audience growth and engagement
- Overseeing all aspects of digital content management, from scheduling and publishing to performance analysis and reporting
- Coordinating project delivery to ensure timelines, budgets, and expectations are met
- Collaborating with our wider creative, editorial, and insights teams to develop innovative content and platform strategies
- Creating channel and content strategies directly with clients, tailored to the entertainment and broadcast space
- Overseeing digital operations for media brands – so you need to know the difference between SVOD and AVOD!
- Focus on growing digital audiences around client content, including on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other emerging platforms
- Responsible for delivering client reports, providing insights, and recommendations
- Collaborating with the wider team to identify audience trends and optimise content strategies
- Monitoring competitor activity and wider entertainment and broadcast trends
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and strategic content
- Passion for entertainment, TV, and digital media
- A natural curiosity for new social tools, emerging platforms, and audience behaviour
- Excellent time management and project coordination skills
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in digital account management, ideally with experience managing entertainment brand channels.
- Strong understanding of YouTube, social media platforms, and VOD/digital platform strategies
- Preferably experience with YouTube analytics, social media insights, and third-party tools like Sprout, Tubular Labs or VidIQ.
- Experience with Kid's Media is preferable.
- A passion for storytelling, media brands, and audience growth.
