Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Heathrow

£56,700 per annum + overtime

Uplift circa 3% from 1st April 2025

Performance bonus (circa 3-4% per annum)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Shift Technician to join high-tech Data Centre. You will be part of a team providing 24/7 coverage on a rotating shift basis and ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are optimally maintained.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guilds certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Building Services Maintenance.
• HV Authorised Person (or valid HV qualification), with HV switching experience.
• BS7671 2018 (18th Edition) Regs.
• Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience maintaining critical environments, ideally within data centres.
• Expertise in close control humidity & temperature conditioning.
• Strong knowledge of Generators, UPS, Chiller, HVAC, Electrical Systems.
• Experience in HV switching operations and ability to perform switching duties safely and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with a strong team ethic.
