3rd Level Building Services/Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
Minimum 3 years plus experience in a site-based MEP role
Experience working on hyperscale Data Centres
Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing health and safety of all stakeholders in decision-making and execution
- Leading by example and ensuring all stakeholders are aware of company-specific health and safety policies and procedures, integrating safety into discussions
- Being fully aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out) related to these energy sources
- Having a comprehensive knowledge of project Mechanical systems and tracking system installation to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
- Understanding project-specific commissioning requirements and assisting in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
- Conducting site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance with relevant requirements
- Coordinating that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use, aligned with the master construction program
- Providing stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress in line with the master schedule
- Ensuring contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works successfully, streamlining electrical activities
- Reviewing the master construction schedule to identify opportunities and sequence work to enhance program delivery
- Chairing and contributing to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders as required
- Issuing weekly progress and cost reports
- Managing subcontractor activities, including tracking progress and manpower levels
