The Work
Our projects include strategy development, market entry, product and business unit strategy, and divestment analysis. You’ll work with a high-performing, diverse team on global and local clients, gaining continuous learning and achievement.
The Opportunity
We seek to expand our team by recruiting Engagement Managers with substantial experience and knowledge of the logistics sector, including industry experience at leading 3PLs, freight forwarders, or parcel delivery companies. You should have developed strategic recommendations and understand the logistics value chain challenges and opportunities.
You Key Responsibilities
Leading large client projects, shaping deliverables, managing client relationships, and coaching teams, with support from directors and partners. Responsibilities include proposal development, thought leadership, and internal initiatives.
- Managing project teams of 4–10 consultants
- Fostering an inclusive culture
- Growing the business through client opportunities
- Collaborating with EY teams across functions
- Building internal communities and initiatives
Skills and attributes for success
Curious, problem-solving, hardworking, and entrepreneurial. Great communication, collaboration, learning, and coaching skills are essential.
To qualify for the role, you must:
- Have at least 5 years’ experience
- Experience in strategy consulting and industry roles in logistics
- Project management skills and analytical experience
- Willingness to share knowledge
Ideally, you will also
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Business development experience
- Ability to solve complex problems and manage time effectively
- Coaching and relationship-building skills
