THE ROLE
An opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate Director or Director Project Manager to work for a large firm of construction consultants based in London.
You will work on high-value hotel projects, including new builds, upgrades, and fit-outs.
They are seeking candidates who are MRICS / MAPM or similarly qualified, with experience working for a construction consultancy firm specializing in hotel projects.
THE COMPANY
My client is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent, and Project Management services for projects in the UK and abroad.
Their offices are located across the UK and internationally.
Their project portfolio includes both new build and refurbishment projects across sectors such as commercial offices, hotels, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, and life sciences.
THE CANDIDATE
You should be a BSc or MSc qualified construction project manager at Senior Associate Director or Director level.
Likely qualifications include MRICS, MAPM, RIBA, MICE, or similar.
You must have significant experience managing high-value hotel projects, including new builds, upgrades, and fit-outs.
Excellent client-facing skills are required.
You should have comprehensive pre- and post-contract project management experience from inception to completion and handover.
The ability to supervise a small team of project managers at various levels is essential.
Experience across a range of high-value building projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of JCT D&B and other contractual forms is essential.
Strong analytical skills are necessary.
A stable work record is expected.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are required.
Salary ranges from approximately £80,000 to £100,000 or more, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional fees, health insurance, pension, discretionary bonus, and other perks.
