We are a forward-thinking, rapidly growing law firm with big ideas and even bigger ambitions. We are seeking a senior leader to shape and drive our Business Recovery & Insolvency department.
This role involves ownership and strategic influence in delivering high-impact legal support in a complex and critical area of law.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements
- Shape the Strategy: Develop a high-performing insolvency practice, including team culture and client service.
- Deliver Expertise: Advise insolvency practitioners, directors, and stakeholders on restructuring, administration, liquidation, and receivership.
- Manage Complex Cases: Handle both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters with technical excellence and commercial insight.
- Representation in Court: Represent clients in litigation, negotiations, and other high-stakes settings.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work with litigation, property, and corporate recovery teams for integrated solutions.
- Mentor & Develop Talent: Foster professional growth within the team.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of legal trends and regulatory changes.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in business recovery & insolvency
- Proven success managing high-value, complex insolvency cases
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communicator with strategic vision and client-facing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage diverse caseloads
- Innovative thinker passionate about results
- Existing client base welcomed but not required
