Job Description

Experienced procurement specialist who identifies the regional operating unit demand and supply chain capacity.

Responsibilities:

1. Proposes and develops the regional supply chain to suit the demand.
2. Provides market competitive procurement solutions for the operating unit which demonstrates the most advantageous tender.
3. Provides an effective and professional service in the procurement of sub-contractors and materials covering:
1. Work winning / Pre-construction procurement strategy and supply chain selection for Bid Leader
2. Construction stage project procurement for Project Leader, including:
1. Production and driving of the procurement schedule
2. Development of work package documents in conjunction with project teams
3. Work package procurement
4. Production of sub-contracts in conjunction with project teams
5. Management of sub-contract formalities
4. Supply chain management, including structuring the supply chain, carrying out performance and relationship management to drive improved performance/cost benefits.
5. Generate and encourage an efficient, productive and continuously improving supply chain performance within the trades.
6. Support the group procurement functional goals and objectives within the region.
