Job Description
The accounts receivables team is part of the Finance Operations function and is responsible for billing and collections of payments due. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and management to the Accounts Receivables area, ensuring it meets key performance metrics such as billing, error-free processing, cash allocation, and timely settlement of debtors, while providing high-quality service to internal and external customers. This role is also responsible for developing and improving processes and controls in the function.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have:
- A flexible and adaptable leadership style with the ability to lead through change.
- Demonstrable ability to engage and motivate remote teams while maintaining high standards and focus on delivery.
- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills, with good knowledge and understanding of Finance and the wider Agency’s priorities.
- Experience in Credit Control and managing complex Accounts Receivable Ledgers.
- Strong financial management skills with the ability to identify shortcomings and seek operational improvements.
- Substantial knowledge of credit control, debt management strategies, and familiarity with systems like Oracle Fusion or similar.
