Job Description
Deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services from our Scotland offices (Glasgow & Edinburgh) to existing and new clients. The scope of services varies depending on client needs, covering both CDM and H&S management.
The key responsibilities include understanding client needs, proactively identifying solutions, and ensuring service excellence to meet expectations.
Develop existing systems and processes to improve CDM and H&S efficiency.
Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer when required, helping clients manage their legal responsibilities per CDM regulations.
Build positive relationships with clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advisor.
Represent Turner & Townsend professionally, including meetings, negotiations, and correspondence with clients.
Manage commissions to meet client expectations and adhere to our business management system.
Conduct H&S performance reviews, audits, etc., for clients.
Collaborate with SHQ and colleagues to enhance team effectiveness, support others, and ensure project quality and profitability.
Prepare pre-construction information and relevant H&S files.
Qualifications
Skills Profile
- Effective workload planning and organization – (Essential)
- Proficient IT skills for reporting and documentation – (Essential)
- Creative thinking – (Essential)
- Extensive knowledge of the Construction Industry and CDM Regulations – (Essential)
- Diverse sector experience and client-focused ability are advantageous.
- Experience as a Principal Designer is advantageous – (Essential)
Education and Professional Qualifications
- Full UK driving license – (Essential)
- GradIOSH or equivalent – (Desired)
- Membership of the APS – (Desired)
