- 12 months initially – 37.5 hours per week – up to £73 per hour Inside IR35, (547.50 Inside IR35 per day)
- 1 to 2 days onsite per week in the Manchester office

Job Profile Summary
A Test Engineer ensures testing and quality practices are embedded in the development of software changes from design to release. Through collaboration with the whole team, they aim to deliver an exceptional customer experience of both new and existing products and reduce rework. They test the product, coach the team in the best test practice, and contribute to the implementation of effective test automation. A Test Engineer works within a team ensuring quality is built in from inception to customer benefit realisation and throughout the entire product life cycle. They advocate delivering customer value with minimal waste, and ensure products are usable, accessible, secure, and performant.
Must Haves:
Understanding of the concepts of various testing types (Unit, Integration, Smoke, Acceptance, Functional, End-to-End, Sanity, Regression)
Comfortable with communicating with people on other teams, of various roles and levels
Experience working on large cross team projects and contributing to test plans and collaborative testing
Experience creating API tests
Experience creating Contract tests with Pact Flow
Experience at influencing a team to conduct the appropriate testing at all levels of the Test Pyramid
Experience with monitoring post release and tracing (Grafana and/or Honeycomb)
Experience with non-functional testing (particularly Performance and Security)
Experience with Java
