About the Role

As a Development Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our internal users across 60 offices, ensuring smooth operation of our custom-built business systems. You'll collaborate daily with experienced developers, product owners, and technical architects to investigate and resolve issues, manage support tickets, and continuously improve user experience.

What You'll Do

  • Provide first-line technical support for over 1,000 users.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in bespoke systems built with modern Microsoft technologies.

  • Identify and escalate urgent issues to management.

  • Log and manage bugs using Jira.

  • Fix data issues directly in our SQL Server database.

  • Gain exposure to a wide range of business-critical platforms (CRM, Mobile, HR, IT, Fleet, and more).

  • Communicate effectively with users via phone, video, chat, and email.

  • Work with a development team releasing new updates every two weeks.

  • Receive mentorship with potential progression into a developer role.

About You

You are a curious, tech-minded problem-solver who is eager to learn. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to work closely with software developers.

Essential Skills:

  • Solid problem-solving ability

  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of SQL

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Basic ability to read code

  • Experience using Jira
