Job Title: Compliance Officer

Location: City of London (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office, 2 Days WFH)

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent or 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

The Role:

As a Compliance Officer, you will work directly with portfolio managers and other key stakeholders to ensure that all compliance obligations are met, with a focus on stakeholder disclosures. You will be an integral part of the team, collaborating closely with colleagues and business partners to ensure that the company adheres to relevant regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with stakeholder disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to ensure compliance with the EU Transparency Directive.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and internal compliance monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the business is prepared to adapt.

About You:

We are looking for a compliance professional with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry. You will have a solid understanding of the EU Transparency Directive and be able to effectively manage stakeholder relationships across the business. The ideal candidate will also be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ strong experience in a compliance role within Asset management/ Private Equity or Private Banking.
  • Strong understanding of the EU Transparency Directive.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.
  • Clear knowledge of the FCA guidebook.
  • Clear understanding of Regulatory reporting, policies and procedures.
