Automation Test Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers focused on UI automation.
2. Provide technical guidance and support in the development and execution of UI test automation strategies.
3. Define and implement a comprehensive UI test automation strategy in alignment with project goals and quality standards.
4. Evaluate and select appropriate UI testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, TOSCA, Katalon or others.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed UI test plans.
6. Oversee the execution of UI test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
7. Lead the development and maintenance of UI Automation Framework and Automated test scripts.
8. Ensure scripts are scalable, maintainable, and provide efficient test coverage.
9. Work closely with development teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.
10. Implement effective defect management processes within the UI automation framework.
11. Integrate UI automation into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and automated test execution.
12. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
13. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to UI automation.
14. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on the status of UI test automation efforts.
15. Identify training needs within the UI automation team and organize training sessions.
16. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in UI testing.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 Years of experience in quality engineering with a focus on UI automation.
2. Proven experience in leading UI automation efforts and managing a team.
3. Strong proficiency in UI testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, Katalon, TOSCA or others.
4. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of UI automation.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
