Main Objectives of the Bid Writer role:Craft compelling and high-quality responses for PQQs, ITTs, and case studies to win business opportunities aligned with the companys strategic planEnsure timely production of documentation in a busy and pressurised environmentEnhance existing content in the bid library and create new case studies for upcoming projects, while updating existing ones to maintain a robust knowledge baseUphold company brand standards to ensure all bids reflect our values and ethosStay informed about customer expectations and emerging market trends, bringing innovation and fresh ideas to bid submissionsProvide support to the business development function, contributing to initiatives that align with the overall business strategyDo you have what it takes?Proven experience in bid writing within the construction and social housing sector
Demonstrated ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant bids and proposals in a business environmentStrong capability to work under tight deadlines, showcasing excellent time management and prioritisation skillsA collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to communicate effectively at all levelsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous and detail-oriented, with a conscientious approach to workSelf-motivated, resourceful, and adaptableExceptional writing and communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and vocabularyFlexible with work hours when necessary to meet tender deadlinesProficient in IT, with above-average skills in MS WordDesirable (but not essential):Educated to degree level or equivalentAPMP Foundation qualificationWhy work with us?
