We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Business Development Executive to become a key part of the AISUS team based in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with clients in the UK, with potential for global expansion. Your primary focus will be developing a strong pipeline, managing existing client relationships, and leveraging your exceptional selling skills to drive business growth.

The current client base is varied and global, and you will get the chance to work with operators and the supply chain across integrity, decommissioning, subsea and drilling & exploration sectors within the UK.
The Role
You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and technical sales team to create compelling sales proposals and build day-to-day quotes for clients. You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure high levels of service to current clients while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You'll be required to build a pipeline of prospects and develop strong working relationships both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK market initially
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities and manage current client accounts
- Create and deliver persuasive sales proposals in collaboration with the technical team
- Build strong working relationships with clients across various organisational levels
- Understand clients' needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Generate quotes, negotiate with clients, and utilise CRM systems (HubSpot)
- Stay updated on industry trends and monitor competitors' activities
- Provide feedback to the product development team on client needs and market demands

- Proven experience in a business development or sales role
- Strong knowledge of selling principles and practices with demonstrable success in achieving sales targets
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships at various organisational levels
- Experience using CRM systems, with HubSpot knowledge being desirable
- Resilient approach to business development with a proactive attitude
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand technical products and translate features into benefits for clients
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
