We are working on behalf of an established and highly respected organisation in the electrical safety and testing sector, who are now seeking a Training Manager to lead the transformation and expansion of their training offering.With a product portfolio spanning over 350 items and covering 13 sectors
including medical, renewable energy, manufacturing, education, and aerospace
the business supports customers worldwide with not only its products, but also key services such as calibration, repair, and technical training.
The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a growing area within the business. You will be responsible for modernising the companys online training offering, developing new onsite programmes, and delivering training sessions yourself in the initial phase.The company is currently developing a new website, with plans to give the training function greater visibility and strategic importance.
Over time, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of the training team and function
essentially building a department as if it were a business within the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesRefresh and modernise existing online training contentDesign and implement new onsite training programmesPersonally deliver training in the initial stagesWork with the Sales Team to promote and sell training packagesRepresent the business at events and engage with key stakeholdersOrganise and manage training events, including sourcing venuesContribute to building a scalable training department over time
What Were Looking ForA strong electrical or technical backgroundExperience in delivering technical training (ideally City & Guilds, NICEIC or equivalent)Previous success in developing both online and in-person training contentA hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset
