Responsibilities
- The Sales Technical Engineer role involves presenting and demonstrating product technical features to potential clients, persuading them to convert orders while consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly sales targets.
- The Sales Manager role is responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly sales targets.
- Partner with the client's IT managers to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the end-user's business needs.
- Provide ongoing technical support and service for the customers ensuring that all enquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions into customer environments.
Technical Skills Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a network consultancy or IT services environment, with expertise in implementation and support services.
- LAN and WAN configuration and diagnostics, including network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP as well as Wi-Fi configuration and diagnostics;
- Virtual server architecture, ideally with VMware and virtual desktop architecture, ideally with Citrix XenDesktop;
- Security – Experience with MDM, MFA, Email Filtering, Next Generation firewalls and antivirus solutions;
- Windows Server – Installation and configuration;
- Storage – Maintaining, updating, troubleshooting SAN devices; configuring iSCSI connectivity; managing and troubleshooting clusters;
- Remote Desktop Services – Experience supporting and troubleshooting RDS, RemoteApp and Citrix environments (on-prem and cloud);
- Networking – Network troubleshooting at 3rd line; supporting Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, Cisco firewalls;
- Endpoint Support – Experience with Windows desktop, application, tablet and mobile device support
Ideal Certifications:
- Citrix Certified Professional (CCP)
- VMware Certified Professional – Data Centre Virtualisation (VCP DCV)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Relevant networking, infrastructure and Microsoft qualifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP)
Language Requirements:
- Fluent or native English.
- Mandarin is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 hours per week
