Hunter James Recruitment are very pleased to be working with this Transport Company with the search for a Purchase Ledger on site in Southampton

Duties:– Process and analyze purchase invoices and credit notes– Ensure accurate data entry of invoices into the system– Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies– Assist with month-end closing activities related to purchase ledger– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions– Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources, to ensure timely payment of invoices– Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any issues or disputes

Skills:– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry– Excellent organizational and time management skills– Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel– Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
