CNC OPERATOR (STONE)
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator (Stone) base near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A CNC OPERATOR:
- Operate CNC Milling machines for cutting and shaping marble, granite, and other stones.
- Operate 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
- Create and implement CAD/CAM drawings.
- Set up the machines using the template designed.
- Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and quality.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS OF A CNC PROGRAMMER:
- Proficient n operating CNC Mills
- CAD/CAM and G-code knowledge (incl. 5-axis).
- Familiar with Pegasus and Rhino for 3D stone design.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential.
- Strong math and mechanical skills for precision work.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Experienced in material handling and warehouse tasks.
- Skilled with hand tools and basic fabrication.
- Good multitasker and team player with clear communication.
THE HOURS:
Monday to Thursday 7.45am -4.45pm / Friday 7.45am-4.30pm
THE PAY:
Your annual salary will be between 35k – 40k, this is dependent on experience.
