We supply an extensive range of agricultural machinery throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, mid and North Wales, Cheshire and Lancashire and also sell high-quality used equipment across the UK and abroad. We have seven depots in Newport (Shropshire), Shrewsbury, Cubley, Welshpool, Middlewich, Ormskirk, Denbigh and Knighton.About the Role

Performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned equipment based upon current certified training. The role has no direct reports and reports directly to Workshop Manager and Service Manager. This role requires the candidate to work outside normal business hours as needed. Overtime compensation will be provided in accordance with company policy.Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis you will (this list is not exhaustive):Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or plant equipment in a workshop and/or field environmentCompletes all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards, time sheets)Follows all safety rules and regulationsCompletes all training programmes to further develop skills and knowledge in a timely mannerMaintains a clean work environment, assists with overall workshop organisation, ensures correct use of tools and vehicles at all timesMentors apprenticesCandidate RequirementsExperience performing service repairsAbility to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment, following approved techniquesProficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to use standard computer applications, internet and manufacturers service portalsAbility to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesGood customer service skillsFamiliar with manufacturers productsAbility to work well in a team environmentCertification in Plant, Automotive, Agricultural engineering or equivalentFull, clean driving licence essential for field rolesAbility to work extended hours and weekends
