Urchfont Primary is a thriving village school set in the beautiful village of Urchfont, near Devizes, Wiltshire. As part of the Salisbury Diocese we have active links with the church.The School is in process of joining EQUA-Mead Learning Trust and it is intended that we will have transferred by September 2025.All about the role:We are looking for aOne to One Teaching Assistant to join the staff team at Urchfont CE Primary School as soon as possible. While this post will be associated with an individual named pupil, you may at any time be required to work with any pupil within the school.We invite applications from candidates who:Is flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of staffIs an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school communityIs patient and understanding when working with childrenIs self-motivated and reliableHas excellent behaviour management skillsHas a willingness to undertake trainingIs enthusiastic with a good sense of humourIdeally, you will also have some experience of working with a pupil with complex needs but training will be given if not.
