Project Manager Fit Out

We are currently looking to hire a Fit Out Project Manager to manage a brand new project based in Holborn, London.

This is a long-term position with the first project running for around 35 weeks.

My client is a reputable and respected contractor who has been in the construction sector for over 40+ years.

Location: Holborn, London

Salary: 300 – 350 a day

Start Date: ASAP

The role:

• You will act as Principal Contractor for the purposes of Health and Safety and CDM requirements on the project.
• All the subcontractors will be directly engaged by the Employer.
• You will be responsible for the daily on-site coordination and interface of the subcontractor works on site.
• The client will be responsible for the engagement, organizing, and arranging of the works contractors.
• Regular meetings to review the overall programme, on-site progress, timings, and sequence of the subcontractors, and review the performance of subcontractors.
• Arrange on-site coordination and programme meetings with works contractors.
• Plan and agree the site logistics.

Candidate Requirements:

• Reporting to Operations Manager
• Experience working on fit-out projects.
• Ability to plan & deliver a complex project.
• Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
• Ability to build & maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office, Project, (or similar scheduling package).
