The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to join a world-leading nuclear defence client based in Aldermaston.
Some of your duties will include:
- Monitoring the project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project.
- Support and develop the successful delivery of projects using key project management principles, including risk management, change management, schedule management and quality whilst always maintaining a focus on safety.
- Overseeing H&S forums and implementing H&S initiatives, ensuring safety is at the forefront of the construction phase.
- Co-ordinating resources to achieve successful delivery, ensuring quality of work is maintained and balanced against the Client’s own requirements.
- Identify and document specific actions including establishing milestone to be performed to produce the project deliverables.
- Review plans with architects, surveyors, and engineers.
- Management of on-site logistics.
- Maintaining and developing excellent Stakeholder and Alliance relationships.
- Support the development of more junior staff through technical training and mentoring.
What do you need to succeed?
- OND, HND, Degree or equivalent
- Membership of a recognised construction-related professional body.
- Extensive experience of working in a nuclear environment.
- Site Construction experience.
