Job Description:

We are working with a reputable law firm in Hertfordshire who are looking to expand their Property Litigation team.

They’re open to experience with the successful candidate and will consider applications from NQ solicitors up to 3 years experience within Property Litigation matters.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 2 supervising solicitors, 3 solicitors and 3 paralegals.

Typical duties include:

  • Managing a range of property/civil litigation matters
  • Ideally experience in service charges and ground rent debt recovery (residential and commercial)
  • Breaches of covenant and general Landlord and Tenant matters is desirable.
  • Reviewing claims
  • Complying with Court and/or Tribunal deadlines as required
  • Provide advice to clients and internally when needed
  • Contributing to business development activity and networking events on behalf of the firm

The successful candidate:

  • Have the ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
