Electrical Shift Lead – HVAP

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Lead (HVAP) to join our team in London. This full-time, on-site role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems within a mission-critical data center environment. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of electrical infrastructure, playing a key role in minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of electrical systems within the data center.
2. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to ensure uninterrupted operations.
3. Design, plan, and implement electrical systems and power distribution solutions.
4. Ensure strict compliance with HVAP regulations, safety standards, and company protocols.
5. Work both independently and as part of a team to meet operational objectives.
6. Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Level 3 Electrical (18th Edition) certification required.
2. Strong expertise in high-voltage electrical systems, design, and power.
3. Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in critical environments.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Relevant electrical engineering certifications are a plus.
8. Previous experience in a data center or similar high-reliability environment is highly desirable.
