This role involves delivering PPM servicing, repairing life safety systems, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance. The engineer will work in various environments and locations, engaging with clients to provide exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1) and emergency lighting systemsComplete engineer service reports accuratelyReport deficiencies in systemsMaintain emergency lighting systems and associated equipmentConduct van stock checks and liaise with the Engineering Technical Supervisor and Procurement DepartmentEnsure Health & Safety compliance and report risks promptlyAim for first-time fixes where possibleRequirements:Flexible approach to work (minimum 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri)Full UK Driving LicensePrevious experience with fire alarm systemsFIA training (or equivalent) to BS5839-1 FundamentalsUnderstanding of BS5839 parts one and sixGood IT literacyKnowledge of Health & Safety RegulationsBenefits:Base salary of £28,295 – £42,440 per annum (40 hours a week)Overtime paid at x1.5 of the wageCareer development opportunitiesCompany vehicle and fuel cardPhone and tabletFull test equipment and power tools22 days holiday allowance plus UK bank holidays (30 days total)Employee assistance program, wellbeing app, mental health support, employee discount scheme, death in service insurance, company pension schemeIf this opportunity sounds right for you, please apply today!
