About Us

Entrepreneurs Collective is a vibrant and fast-growing startup community, bringing together ambitious founders, investors, and innovators through curated events, startup support, and exclusive networks. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs by fostering meaningful connections and delivering real value through networking, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly personable, proactive, and results-driven Community Manager & Partnerships Referrals Lead to help grow and engage our founder community while building strategic referral relationships. You’ll be the face of EC for many members — welcoming new founders, maintaining strong relationships, and working closely with partners to generate warm, qualified referrals to and from our ecosystem.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a people-first environment, loves connecting others, and has a natural talent for building and nurturing relationships. The ideal candidate has knowledge or experience of the startup ecosystem; a former founder or early stage employee at a tech startup or who has worked in fundraising or Venture Capital.

Key Responsibilities

Community Management

  1. Be the primary point of contact for our founder and investor community.
  2. Onboard new members, ensuring they feel welcomed, connected, and supported.
  3. Foster engagement within our community channels (WhatsApp, email, IRL Events etc.).
  4. Assist with organising virtual and in-person community meetups, discussions, and mixers.
  5. Collect feedback to improve member experience and identify opportunities for growth.

Partnerships & Referrals

  1. Build & maintain relationships with key service provider partners.
  2. Identify qualified startups who could benefit from our partner services and make appropriate introductions.
  3. Track referral activity, report performance, and maintain CRM records.
  4. Collaborate with marketing to highlight success stories and promote partnership benefits.
  5. Work closely with the events, content, and marketing teams to develop and support strategic growth initiatives.
  6. Represent EC at events, networking meetups, and community collaborations.
  7. Contribute to the development of new offerings and member benefits through partnerships.

You’ll Excel in This Role If You Have

  1. Exceptional people and relationship-building skills.
  2. Experience managing startup or business communities.
  3. A good understanding of the startup ecosystem (founders, accelerators, investors, etc.).
  4. Confidence using tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot (or similar CRM), LinkedIn, and Zoom.
  5. Self-motivation, great follow-through, and the ability to work independently.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication.

Bonus Points For

  1. Previous experience in partnerships, sales, or account management.
  2. Background in a startup, accelerator, or VC environment.
  3. Event hosting or community moderation experience.
  4. Social media or content collaboration skills.

What You’ll Get

  1. A front-row seat in the startup world, working with some of the UK’s most exciting founders.
  2. A fast-paced, flexible, and supportive work environment.
  3. Access to top-tier startup events, founder dinners, and investor meetups.
  4. Commission or bonus opportunities for successful referrals and partnerships.
  5. A chance to grow with an ambitious, mission-driven team.
