  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of pupils.
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent

Further details about the role You will provide dedicated 1:1 support to individual pupils, tailoring your approach to their specific needs, leading 1:1 and small group activities to reinforce learning and develop social skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans. You will be ablse to create a p;ositive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love of learning and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.Hours are 14.25 per week, to be worked Wednesday 1pm – 3.15pm and Thursday and Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm, term time only.Please note our term dates differ from Staffordshire, and can be found on our website a school visit, please contact the school directly on 01543 472 245.For further information please visit will be held on the afternoon of 01st May.Commitment to safeguarding Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
