- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of pupils.
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent

Further details about the role You will provide dedicated 1:1 support to individual pupils, tailoring your approach to their specific needs, leading 1:1 and small group activities to reinforce learning and develop social skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans.
