Engineering Apprenticeship Up to 40 hours per week Why choose Royal Mail? If you enjoy teamwork, problem-solving, and have a practical flair, our Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship is perfect for you. Spend part of your first year at your local college, learning how to fix, maintain, and review our technology whilst achieving industry-recognised qualifications.Over the 3-4 year programme , you’ll explore robotics, machine intelligence, and more, guided by senior mentors. Develop the skills to become an Automation Maintenance Technician and obtain your Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. You don’t need to be an expert engineer before you join, as we will support you all the way. You will be age 16 +and have 5 GCSEs (or predicted) at Grade 4/C or above including Maths , English & Science . Location allowance: minimum of £3600 per year for inner London and minimum of £2300 per year for outer London dependant on age.
