Evan Evans Tours, part of The Travel Corporation (TTC), is the UK’s leading day tour operator. Since 1930, we’ve offered unforgettable sightseeing experiences across London, Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath, Edinburgh, and Paris. Our head office also serves as a passenger departure lounge for many of our tours.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in untapped markets and verticals within the travel and experiences space.

This role will focus on expanding Evan Evans Tours’ presence by building strong relationships with new Online Travel Agents (OTAs) , wholesalers , and other strategic partners.

You’ll bring a proven background in travel trade sales and business development — with the confidence to negotiate, lead pitches, and attend international trade events.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify and target new domestic and international partners
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand our distribution network
  • Lead negotiations and secure commercial agreements
  • Attend international trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Meet and exceed revenue and growth targets through new partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of partners to maximize sales

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with Head of Sales and Marketing to align on business development strategies
  • Work with Product and Distribution teams to keep partners up to date on offerings
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, performance, and market trends

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years in business development, sales, or related travel industry roles
  • Proven track record in securing new B2B partnerships (preferably within tourism)
  • Strong knowledge of OTAs, wholesalers, and global travel distribution networks

Desired

  • Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse trends and pivot accordingly
  • Self-starter, target-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • International sales experience is a plus
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Experience attending international trade shows and networking events
