  • Preparing legal documents, witness statements, and compliance reviews
  • Conducting advocacy at Public Inquiries and Preliminary Hearings
  • Delivering client training, risk audits, and regulatory due diligence
  • Supporting broader regulatory matters where needed (e.g. H&S, corporate crime)

  • Gain hands-on experience with national and international clients in the transport, logistics and fleet operations sectors
  • Opportunity to conduct your own advocacy at hearings
  • Get involved in BD activities including public speaking, writing thought leadership content and attending networking events
  • Benefit from a supportive environment that encourages growth, flexibility and autonomy

Essential:

  • Qualified Solicitor (2–6 years PQE)
  • Strong interest in regulatory or criminal defence law

  • Willingness to travel across the UK for client meetings and hearings

Desirable:

  • Existing experience in transport regulatory or wider regulatory law
  • Previous advocacy or willingness to build on advocacy skills

  • Passion for BD – writing, presenting, and relationship-building

Location & Flexibility

  • Hybrid working structure with a base in Birmingham
  • Flexible and agile working arrangements available to suit your lifestyle
