Embankment, London REPORTS TO : Marine Director

Our client, a well-established and renowned river cruise company with over 160 years of history on the Thames, is looking for an Engineer to join their crew. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest and strong technical knowledge of diesel and electrical motors and be passionate about boats and water. You will perform routine maintenance, ensure hybrid and diesel engines are well-maintained before, during, and after events, and implement preventive measures to prioritise the health and safety of clients and crew

Mechanical/Electrical engineering (e.g., Providing overall boat maintenance services across a wide range of marina support (e.g., winterising, plumbing, and heating systems)

Experience working with some of the following (PLC controllers, High Voltage/DC Charging, Electrical/power distribution, Converters/Inverters)

Driving vessels under the supervision of the Captain

Experience with a diesel-driven engine or generator maintenance

Mechanical and Electrical engineering experience

Willing to work either 2 days on, 2 days off, with some evenings during events, or the typical 8-6 5 days out of 7

Previous marine industry experience is preferred bu t not required.
