Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):
A customer facing role with the sole purpose of training and developing to enable them to be fully equipped with product knowledge and experience. To be the key link between Drive and our Respiratory customers for any technical needs offering an on-site solution for repairs and product issues. To strengthen relationships with our customers, providing a regular on-site presence. Products will primarily be oxygen concentrators and suction machines. Full product demonstrations will be required to support our sales functions so a full understanding of the products from how they are used through to how they are built, repaired, and serviced is a must.
The ideal candidate should reside within a daily commuting distance of the Drive DeVilbiss Service Centre in Halifax. However, the role necessitates regular nationwide travel within the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays, with possible overseas visits including Drive Devilbiss U.S.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:Customer product trainingCreate training videos/literatureNationwide travel and time away from home on a regular basis, all expenses paidProcessing training documents and keep records up to datePerform field troubleshooting of Drive DeVilbiss Respiratory Products.Offer technical support to the Sales team during presentations and trade showsTo be the key liaison between Drive and our Respiratory customers
Competencies:Knowledge of Respiratory products desirable yet not essential as full training will be providedExcellent use of hand toolsAbility to fault find on electrical productsElectrical safety certificate desirable yet not essentialExcellent Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessionsProficiency in Computer/PC Skills: Competent in utilizing technology for documentation and communication purposesAbility to work alone and as part of a teamThe ability to understand the audience and adapt training as required
Education and Experience:Full clean driving licenseEnhanced DBS requiredEnthusiastic, positive, motivated approachExcellent communication skillsProfessionalWilling to travel and work away regularlyPersonable and adaptable in their approach
