Job Description

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a Climate Change Coordinator in London to lead projects aimed at accelerating decarbonisation. The role involves ensuring compliance with energy policies, collaborating with various stakeholders, and developing innovative delivery mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data analysis and translating research into reports.
2. Overseeing the process ensuring planning applicants comply with energy policies supporting the Mayor’s target, set out in the current London Plan.
3. Working closely with officers across the environment and planning teams at ENGINEERINGUK.
4. Engaging with key stakeholders including developers, consultants, and energy officers.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Gather and analyse relevant data and evidence to ensure strategy, policy, projects, and programmes are developed with a solid evidence base.
2. Translate research outcomes into concise, meaningful reports.
3. Identify relevant and practical research questions for the future.
