Planning Manager – Rail

Proven Planning Manager with experience of working on major rail programmes required for an initial 15 month contract in Leeds. Hybrid working is offered but there will be a need to travel to Manchester and York when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing planning and scheduling services to support a major rail infrastructure programme
• Taking the lead on project scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder management
• Conducting periodic programme reviews and maintaining schedules
• Integrating risk management into scheduling processes
• Generating and presenting reports to ensure projects stay on track

Job Requirements:

• Experience of working on major rail projects in a planning management capacity
• Proficiency in motivating and leading planning teams
• Knowledge of NEC4 schedule contractual requirements
• Experience working with technical engineering, construction, and access disciplines
• Ability to use and operate P6 Loadspring database, including creating and managing security privileges

Other Details:

• This is a contract position for 15 months
• Based in Leeds, with travel to York and Manchester as needed
