About Us
Brio Digital are partnered with a major HealthTech consultancy looking for a skilled Software Architect to shape the application development strategy within a brand new team. You will play a critical role in selecting the best approach for the product roadmap while working with cutting-edge technologies across UI, backend, cloud, and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural decision-making for mobile app development, evaluating native vs. non-native solutions.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and cloud engineers.
- Ensure high-quality code, security best practices, and performance optimisation across all systems.
- Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Key Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in the following:
- Strong experience with Android and iOS app development.
- Expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, CSS, ESLint, Prettier.
- Understanding of component design and design systems.
- Proficiency in Python-based REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in containerisation using Docker.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform.
- Experience with package management using npm.
Code Quality & Testing
- Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as Trivy and Sonar Cloud.
- Experience with testing frameworks including Pytest, JEST, Playwright, Locust, Apache JMeter, Pact Python, and OpenAPI Schema Validator.
