Location: Commutable to Brentwood

Remuneration: £40,000 – £60,000 + bonus tbc

The role of the Estimator – Roofing Systems will involve:

• Estimator position promoting a high quality range of roofing projects such as: liquid coatings, reinforced bitumen membranes, green roofs, hot melt and tiling
• Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
• Carrying out site surveys as and when required
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100k – £3m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Roofing Systems with:

• Must have estimating experience within the construction industry working for a subcontractor
• Ideally will have experience within the roofing market sector with a bias towards commercial flat roofing systems
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong numerical skills
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
• Confident and articulate individual
