Senior RF Engineer

We are currently working with a thriving start-up semiconductor company based in Cambridge looking to bring in an experienced Senior RF Engineer to join their design team specialising in front-end modules and RF board-level design.

In this position as a Senior RF Engineer, you will be carrying out projects from design to full release to customers involving multi-bandwidth and high frequency design work. Experience with Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, noise minimisation, interference isolation techniques, filters and individual RF component performance is required.

Requirements as a Senior RF Engineer

1. Experience of RF transmitter and receiver components, transmission line theory, antennas, RF front-end module (FEM) and RF system architectures and specifications.
2. Experience with RF performance characterisation and optimisation of radio subsystems to meet 3GPP and FCC compliance requirements.
3. Experience using schematic capture, PCB layout tools, and RF simulation tools.
