The Global Pricing Analyst will play a key role in structuring, analysing, and interpreting pricing and pipeline data to support business strategy. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, experience handling large datasets, and the ability to transform unstructured data into actionable insights.

Client Details

Our North Kent based client, a large manufacturing company, has a significant presence in the UK and beyond, and due to significant growth are now seeking a Global Pricing Analyst to work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams. The successful candidate will develop pricing strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and implement data-driven decision-making processes.

Description

  • Restructure and analyse historic pricing data to identify key trends in average selling prices over time and geographic pricing variations.
  • Work with sales and product teams to identify key value drivers and develop compelling, value-based pricing models.
  • Develop and implement structured pricing and discount policies, conducting post completion margin reviews.
  • Establish clear and consistent pipeline reporting using Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Adapt pipeline tracking and forecasting methodologies to support new business propositions and market expansion.
  • Develop weekly reports to track performance vs. prior year and current year targets, identifying inconsistencies.
  • Conduct long-range forecasting and pipeline modelling to support strategic growth plans.
  • Enhance the use of Salesforce CRM and work closely with IT to improve data management and reporting automation.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness.

Profile

A successful ‘Global Pricing Analyst’ should have:

  • Proven experience in a pricing, commercial finance, or business analytics role within a multi-entity business.
  • Experience in using data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI, or similar.
  • Salesforce or other similar CRM experience is required, with the ability to structure and extract meaningful insights from CRM data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
