Group Financial Controller

Our client, a leading international fleet management business, is seeking a technically strong Interim Group Financial Controller to join its central finance function. The role will be pivotal in driving financial reporting excellence and supporting the leadership team through a period of change and growth, in this asset based organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the preparation of consolidated group financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
2. Own and enhance financial reporting processes across multiple international entities
3. Oversee and develop a team of qualified finance professionals
4. Support ongoing systems and process improvements, including future transformation initiatives

Candidate Profile:

1. A qualified finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise (UK GAAP and IFRS essential)
2. Experience working in international, multi-entity, multicurrency environments
3. Background in asset-intensive businesses with physical assets in excess of £1bn is essential
4. Confident people manager, with a track record of leading and developing finance teams
