About the Role
Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is looking for a talented NPD Manager to drive new product development from concept to launch. Working closely with some of the UK’s top retailers, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing innovative and high-quality products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end NPD process, from ideation to product launch.
- Work closely with major UK retailers, understanding their requirements and market trends.
- Develop innovative, commercially viable food products that excite consumers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, commercial, and production.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring all critical paths are met.
- Oversee product trials and ensure products meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay ahead of food trends and competitor activity to drive category growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an NPD Manager in the food manufacturing industry.
- A passion for food innovation and a deep understanding of the product development cycle.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Knowledge of retailer requirements and experience working directly with UK supermarkets.
- A creative and commercial mindset, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
